All persons who may contract and dispose of their property may make a donation. (624)
Intellegal Wiki · In plain terms
Anyone who has the legal capacity to enter into contracts and to dispose of their property is allowed to make a donation. In effect, the power to give property away as a gift depends on having the same capacity required to contract and to freely deal with what you own.
