Summary

This Supreme Court case involved a land ownership dispute between the heirs of Epifanio Caro and the Ronzales family over a 260 square meter parcel. Caro purchased land from Simeon Gallego in 1948, but the Ronzales family had been residing on the eastern portion since before WWII. When Original Certificate of Title No. 0-6836 was issued to the Ronzales family in 1970, Caro filed suit in 1975 seeking cancellation and reconveyance based on fraud.
